Allambie Heights Community Project

Since 1945 The Spastic Centre has worked to improve the quality of life of people with cerebral palsy (CP) through a range of support services, new technologies and research.

The Spastic Centre has been located at Allambie Heights since 1957. While our organisation has stood the test of time, our buildings have not. McLeod House no longer meets current accessibility standards for our clients. These older facilities incur high maintenance costs, and restrict the programs and services we offer our clients.

The Planning Process

The Spastic Centre has engaged DEM architects to prepare a plan to upgrade the Allambie Heights site. As part of this process, specialist consultants have prepared technical reports on factors ranging from flora and fauna, to traffic and parking.

The Spastic Centre is undertaking consultation with the community. We invite residents and businesses in the local community to meet the project team and learn more about the plan.
