TASC is a consultancy service which meets the technology, seating and mobility needs of people with disabilities in NSW.

TASC Philosophy

To provide quality services to people with disabilities in the areas of technology, seating and mobility.

The Service

TASC services include the following:

identification of client needs and recommendations in relation to technology for communication, computer access, seating/wheelchairs and environmental control
alternatives to handwriting
assistance with the trial of recommended equipment
assistance with preparing funding submissions for recommended equipment
a fully equipped workshop to modify or repair wheelchairs and manufacture customised equipment for people with disabilities
a mobile service that regularly visits sites within the Sydney metropolitan area. Read more (PDF)

Cost of TASC Services

There is a scale of charges for various services offered by TASC. Any person with a disability is eligible to receive services.

Technical areas e.g. metal and mechanical trade.
